Anti-aging: mind, body, soul with The Fillingame Homestead

 Tonia will talk about not only biblical principles backed by science but the things you can do to protect the brain and continue growing brain cells, The link between trauma and health, what is causing aging of skin,  mind and bodies and the herbs and your actions that can counter act this aging. How to increase not only longevity and physical appearance, but quality of life, based on science, studies and the bible. 

$40 fee includes class supplies, a tea taste testing and a gift bag with product samples.

MOSAIC STEPPING STONE

 Sat, Sept 26 @ 11 am -2 pm

 In this two-part class, participants will design and create a decorative and durable 12”-round mosaic garden paver. Students will learn stained glass cutting techniques and mosaic principles. Mosaics must dry for 24 hours before grouting. Students have the option to return to MSAC on Saturday, Oct 3 at 3 pm to grout or to receive a take home grout kit to do on their own.

All materials and tools are provided.

Join Tina, owner of Make Mine Homemade as she leads everyone through the steps of feeding your starter, making your dough, and several sets of "stretch and fold". By the end of this class, you'll have organic, minimal ingredient sourdough bread dough ready to rise with a suggested bake time for the following day. You'll also develop the skills to shape your dough, fold in inclusions, how to bake, and more.  

The $45 clas fee includes: 
-a healthy starter
- ingredients for you to feed that starter and to make your first loaf of bread
-basic tools and a recipe booklet.  

Participants are asked to bring a quart sized glass jar to take home their starter. 

A scale will be provided for use during the class, but it is highly recommended that you have one at home. Feel free to bring your own for the class as we will be sharing. It is also recommended that you have a dutch oven at home to use when baking your bread.

PRAISE & PAINT    Friday, 10/9 6:30 pm
Dana with Paint & Purpose will lead everyone in painting Count Your Blessings on an 11x14 canvas during a peaceful evening of creativity, worship, and encouragement.

Designs are preprinted on the canvas to aide in painting. $40 fee includes all supplies. In lieu of refunds, to-go packets can be provided. Deadline to register is 10/6. 

KINUSAIGA ART (painting with fabric)

 Saturday, Oct 10 at 11 am

Come learn the art of Kinusaiga. Choose from four designs in advance then on the day of the class, select from various fabrics to create your custom piece.

$40 includes all supplies and wooden frame.

Paint a Fall or Christmas Door Hanger with That Crafty Diva.

Students have the option to return to MSAC on Saturday, Nov 14 at 4 pm to grout or to receive a take home grout kit to do on their own.

LEARN TO KNIT A SCARF USING ONLY HANDS, no needles! Choose from 12 colors, add tassels if desired.

$40 includes all supplies.
