Come and enjoy creating your own chunky hand-knit scarf using the garter stitch. Make one for yourself or as a gift. Various colors available.

Sat, 12/6 @ 2 pm. $15

 Kids of all ages are invited to come paint 2 ceramic ornaments. There will be a variety of ornaments to choose from. Kids age 5 & under must have an adult stay to assist them.

It is recommended that ornaments be left to dry and picked up the next week.

Wrap yourself in creative joy as we begin our blanket-making adventure. You’ll leave with know-how, materials, and a piece of your heart woven in.

Featuring the "Broken Herringbone" stitch.

Fee includes personalized instruction & all yarn needed to make a blanket approximately 42"x50".

Sat, 1/17 at 10:30 am $45

 Join us as we go through the steps of feeding your starter, making your dough, and several sets of "stretch and fold". By the end of this class, you'll have organic, minimal ingredient sourdough bread dough ready to rise with a suggested bake time for the following day. You'll also develop the skills to shape your dough, fold in inclusions, how to bake, and more.

The class fee includes:

-a healthy starter

- ingredients for you to feed that starter + make your first loaf of bread

-basic tools and a recipe booklet

Participants are asked to bring a quart sized glass jar to take home their starter.

Scales will be provided for use during the class, but it is highly recommended that you have one at home. It is also recommended that you have a dutch oven at home to use when baking your bread.

Maximum 18 participants.

Sat, 1/31 from 11 am -2 pm
Participants will learn the vibrant art of mosaics while crafting a 23” X 6” sign with Susan Hopkins. All materials are included. Participants are asked to come with an idea in mind. Projects need to dry for 24 hours before the final step of grouting. Participants may take projects home to grout at their convenience or return to Main Street Art Collective the next week to grout.
