Sourdough Bread Making

Join us as we go through the steps of feeding your starter, making your dough, and several sets of "stretch and fold". By the end of this class, you'll have organic, minimal ingredient sourdough bread dough ready to rise with a suggested bake time for the following day. You'll also develop the skills to shape your dough, fold in inclusions, how to bake, and more.
The $45 class fee includes:
-a healthy starter
- ingredients for you to feed that starter + make your first loaf of bread
-basic tools and a recipe booklet
Participants are asked to bring a quart sized glass jar to take home their starter.
Scales will be provided for use during the class, but it is highly recommended that you have one at home. It is also recommended that you have a dutch oven at home to use when baking your bread.
Maximum 18 participants.
CUSTOMIZE 2 SPRING FRESHIES
Sat, March 7 @ 11 am $25
Select 2 freshie designs, 1 large & 1 small, to paint & customize. Many designs & scents to choose from.
CREATE A MOSAIC SIGN
**Rescheduled to Sat, 3/7 from 2 -5 pm
Participants will learn the vibrant art of mosaics while crafting a 23” X 6” sign with Susan Hopkins. All materials are included in $65 fee. Participants are asked to come with an idea in mind. Projects need to dry before the final step of grouting. Participants may take projects home to grout at their convenience or return to Main Street Art Collective on 3/14 @ 3 pm to grout.
CREATE A MOSAIC STEPPING STONE
Sat, March 14 at 11 am
In this two-part class, participants will design and create a decorative and durable 12”-round mosaic garden paver. Students will learn stained glass cutting techniques and mosaic principles. Mosaics must dry for 24 hours before grouting, so students will choose the option to grout at home or return to MSAC on March 18th at 11:00.
$65 includes all materials and tools to complete a vibrant paver.
God Given Health Hacks-Beginners Class

KIDS SPRING BREAK PAINT CLASS
Thursday, April 9 at 2 pm $25
Kids age 5+ are invited to come paint either a dog or cat on canvas. (basic design is pre-printed on canvas)
In lieu of refunds, paint kits can be picked up to complete at home.
